Shizney 2k9 – the annual day celebrations of TKR Group of Institutions put up enough enthusiasm among the students to forget the impending examinations and enjoy the memorable evening to the fullest.

The main attraction of the festival on the first day was the performance of Indi-Pop band “Euphoria” known all over the country for its pulsating numbers.

No wonder, it made every student to swing to their songs in a lively manner. Apart from the 3,000 odd students even parents couldn’t stop shaking their legs.

It was followed by a DJ Night and the students went wild with the pulsating numbers pounding them.

The second day of celebrations also the release of the college souvenir Prerana 2009.

A.K. Chakravarthy, project Director, Missiles programme, DRDL, was the chief cuest while Teegala Krishna Reddy, chairman, TKRES, T. Harinath Reddy, Secretary, TKRES, and principals of all the colleges attended.

It was followed by cultural shows, skits, dances, (classical & modern) and mimicry by students.

Technical, cultural fest

SCIENT Institute of Technology organised a national-level technical and cultural fest – Techzeal 09 & Alankrita that saw students from different colleges participating in various events. The fest was inaugurated by Kiranmayee Dutt, vice-president, Knoah Solutions, while principal G. Durga Prasad welcomed the gathering. Convenor of fest K. Sneha Reddy briefed about the different competitions held during this fest.

Some of the events conducted in cultural and technical section included inter-college singing, dance competitions, campus super star, dumb charades and photo craft.

It was also an opportunity for students to test their technical skills in events like paper & poster presentations, project expo, robotics, coding, debagging, tech auiz and fun events like mock interview and jam session.

The programme was followed by cultural events from students.
