The Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST), Valiyamala, Thiruvananthapuram, will hold its national-level admission test, ISAT 2012, from 9 a.m. to noon on April 21 for admission to four-year, full-time B.Tech. courses in aerospace engineering, avionics, and physical science. There are 157 seats.

Applications can be submitted online on www.iist.ac.in from November 1.

The Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) will hold the Joint Entrance Examination (IIT-JEE 2011) on April 8 for admission to undergraduate courses, such as BE, B.Tech., integrated M. Tech., dual-degree M.Tech., and B.Des courses, conducted by them and those offered by the Institute of Technology of Banaras Hindu University, and the Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad. Paper I will be held from 9 a.m. to noon and Paper II from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Applications can be submitted online from October 31 to December 10. Sale of offline application forms starts on November 11.
