Panel discussion on NITs and IITs, that was held in The Hindu office in Begumpet on May 30, evoked a strong response from the students who posted questions on The Hindu Hyderabad’s facebook page for clarifications. Because of the paucity of time, the panel did not deliberate on some of these questions during the session. These queries were later clarified by Venkata Ramana, Head of Academics - JEE, T.I.M.E., Hyderabad. Following are the excerpts from the questions asked by the students and the answers given by Mr. Ramana.
