To choose between MBA colleges or MBA programmes there are several factors you have to consider and some of these factors are unique to you. You said that you are already working as a sales executive. Now did you consider the executive MBA option? There are several reputed institutes offering the course and the classes are conducted in the evenings. This will help you pursue the course without leaving the job. But of course you have to put in additional efforts and sacrifice your free time. You can also consider the three-year part-time MBA programmes.

Coming to regular MBA programmes, there are a plethora of institutes offering them. But you have to take a break from your job to pursue it. If you opt for top institutes like IIMs, XLRI, FMS, SP Jain and Narsee Monjee you have to go through their respective screening processes, which typically include entrance test, group discussion and personal interview. Being the top most B-schools in India the competition to secure a seat in them is very high. So in case you fail to secure a seat in these institutes, you can consider other A+ graded institutes. Remember, doing MBA is not about acquiring a degree but is about gaining the skills required in a manager.

Now if your career is progressing well, your growth prospects in the current company are promising and you are good at grasping the subject and acquiring skills, you can go for a distance mode course. Choose a specialisation that would complement your aspirations.

Another way out of the financial constraint is loans. Most of the banks offer student loans for recognised postgraduate programmes. You can repay the loan once you finish your course and secure a job. You can enquire from different banks about their norms and conditions to grant loans and choose a suitable one.
