Prof.G.S.N.Raju, Vice-Chancellor, Andhra University, has called upon the university teachers to commit and rededicate themselves towards taking the institution to greater heights in the area of academics, research and development besides consultancy. Prof.Raju was addressing the Heads of Departments, Chairpersons of Boards of Studies and various centres of Colleges of Arts and Commerce. The Vice-Chancellor said that the teachers should adopt modern teaching and learning methods and cultivate intensive research among faculty and scholars to maintain global standards. He said that teachers should spend at least eight hours a day teaching and conducting research.

He said every teacher should apply for projects and consultancy, which will be benchmark in their career. He said consultancy and research and development would be given top most priority besides publications.

Prof.Raju requested the teachers, staff, scholars and students to be punctual.
