Faculty of Engineering Science of Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering (SVCE), Sriperumbudur, Chennai, and Built Engineering of London South Bank University, London, UK, have signed an Memorandum of Understanding to promote education, research and knowledge transfer programmes.
It is anticipated that this partnership would permit the academia of the institutions to contribute to research in biotechnology, robotics, civil engineering, networking, artificial intelligence, mechatronics, and related fields.
SVCE principal Prof. Sivanandham said, “The major aims of this alliance are to corroborate our research activities with expertise from LSBU and to prepare the students with hands-on training in the key areas of engineering at LSBU.”
Prof. Rao Bhamidimarri of LSBU said, “the university will provide postgraduate and doctoral degree programmes for the students and faculty of SVCE at a subsidised rate and also establish research collaborations with the departments of the college.”
