Courses offered by the colleges are increasingly taking a new dimension with regard to certifications and students are being attracted to the additional international certifications since they open up vast opportunities for them across the world.
In this direction, the Roots institutions are offering some innovative courses that not only give the regular degrees but also the internationally recognised Edexcel certifications from UK, says B.P. Some of the unique courses being offered include five-year integrated programmes like the Integrated Bachelor of Business Administration ((Intermediate+BBA+Edexcel UK, Level 5), Integrated Bachelor of Arts (Mass Communication) and Integrated Bachelor of Commerce (Foreign Trade).
Focus is on overall personality development and the industry mentorship programme will put students on the right track. International study tours and exchange programmes are also part of the course. Last year, the BBA students went on an industrial visit to South East Asian countries.
