The Osmania University, Department of History professor Adapa Satyanarayana has been invited to participate and present a paper at the first Asia-Pacific Association of Global Historians to be held in Beijing, China from May 1 to 5.

Mr. Satyanarayana would be presenting a paper on ‘Globalisation and the Telugu Diaspora in the Southeast Asian countries’.

His paper would deal with the socio-economic conditions of the three generations of Telugus in the Southeast Asian countries in the context of modern globalisation.

Entrance for M.Sc

The University College of Engineering (A), Osmania University organised a Faculty Training Programme called “MISSION 10X” in Collaboration with WIPRO Technologies for Teachers of University College of Engineering (A), CBIT and MJCET of Osmania University.

Mission1OX Faculty Training Programme is an initiative from Wipro technologies aiming to promote systemic changes in collaboration with Academia that would enhance employability of graduating Engineers across the country significantly. After a thorough academic research, the Wipro innovation team has arrived at the ‘Wipro Learning Model’ to address the challenge of employability in today’s era.

The ‘Wipro Learning Model’ enables a faculty to imbibe in the students higher levels of understanding of the subject taught while developing key behavioural skills.

The workshops will focus on enhancing the capability of the faculty by honing their communication skills, presentation skills and facilitation skills followed by exposure to the Wipro Learning Model which incorporates new teaching techniques and practice sessions on teaching techniques.

Faculty are also encouraged to prepare session plans and conduct classes in their area of expertise using the Wipro Learning Model.
