Delivering a lecture on ‘Prevention and early detection of cardiac ailments' organised by Arogya Bhadratha, Dr. Umesh Chandra urged police personnel to avoid tobacco, which was a leading cause for coronary artery disease. Daily brisk walking and other aerobic exercises help in reducing weight and that eventually aids in preventing cardiac problems.
He gave a presentation on preventive measures to be followed for avoiding cardiac problems.
