Winners of Parle Golu Galata felicitated

Parle Products, biscuits and confectionary brand, conducted Parle Golu Galata across Tamil Nadu.

In its sixth year, the Parle Golu Galata reached out to more than 15,000 households across 10 cities in the state.

During the festival, the team of judges visited all 15,000 homes. Kids in more than 100 schools also participated in the competition. During the festival, visits were also made to celebrity homes to capture ‘Golu celebrity moments'.

Speaking on the festival, Mayank Shah, Group Product Manager, Parle Products said, “As a company, Parle believes that we need to preserve our traditions and the contest aim at reviving the tradition.”

Post the festival, the judges short-listed the best entries. The names of winners in each city were published in the local newspapers. Parle conducted the ‘Grand Finale' to felicitate the winners recently.

The winners are – Chennai Topper - Vimala Narasiman (West Mambalam), Consolation prizes - Deepa Shankar, T Nagar, Subha Ramaswamy, Chrompet, Parvathi Subramaniyam, Saligaram, Usha Shankaranarayan, Mylapore, Sujathanarayanan, Saligramam, Rajalakshmi, West Mambalam, Jayam Choodamani, Mylapore, Suja Harikumar, Saligramam, Booma, East Tambaram and Mekala Venkat Mylapore. Jai Gopal Garodia Hindu Vidyalaya School, West Mambalam, Vivekanandha Vidhyalaya School and Ganesh Matriculation have won in the school category.
