Vadaanya Janaa Society (VJS), a non-profitable organisation, adopted a government primary and high school in Balanagar for teaching different subjects to children studying in the school.

Every weekend VJS volunteers conduct extra classes for students in the school. To make learning more interesting for primary school children, VJS conducted special sessions using a projector and played knowledge videos, rhymes and moral Stories. For overall physiological and mental growth along with studies, extracurricular activities and sports, VJS conducted different competitions like painting, singing and awarded children, who came up good performances.

Most of the students in the school are from low income groups and many take up part-time jobs to help their families. The objective was to create awareness about education among children, claimed a press release.
