Sevalaya's Mahakavi Bharathiyar School has secured 100 per cent results in Class X exams.

The students come from poor families and most of them are first generation learners.

Thirty Seven students have scored more than 80 per cent.

Four students have got centum in maths and two have got centum in science.

The school toppers are: P. Dilipkumar (483/500), R. Deepa and P. Indira (481), K. Meena; R. Purushothaman and S. Gomathi (471).

While the parents of Dilipkumar, Deepa, Purushothaman and Gomathi are agricultural daily wage earners, Indira and Meena, children of single parent, depend on their mothers who are domestic helpers.
