MOP Vaishnav College won its sixth straight overall championship at the recently concluded VASPO national level sports meet, after it clinched the throwball and basketball titles.

St. Joseph's College of Engineering won the volleyball title, and Stella Maris the table tennis crown. Over 450 students from around 45 colleges participated in the meet. M. Ravi, Additional Commissioner of Police, Traffic, was the chief guest at the valedictory ceremony, and distributed cash prizes and trophies to the winning teams.
