Saveetha Engineering College organised a three-day ‘Science Utsav' from November 1 at their college premises at Thandalam. D.V. A. Raghava Murthy, Project Director, Small Satellite Systems Project, ISRO, inaugurated the fest. Some of the highlights of the events include Science and language projects display, Quiz, Dumb-C, and numbers of Paper presentations.

The Paper presentation concentrated on global warming, pollution and population control, and rain water harvesting and number of many other subjects, with an aim to serve the community in the future.

Organisers said that these presentations were aimed at creating awareness among the youngsters.

Maths, English, Physics and Chemistry and other engineering departments had displayed a number of projects. They threw light on creative works like puzzle solving, analytical games, language challenge, and fortune wheel.

‘Spectrum', the students' science forum of Saveetha Engineering College stated that around 3000 students from 200 schools (standard VI to standard XII) visited the Utsav which was organised as part of the decennial celebrations of the institution.
