Parikshan Charitable Trust will conduct a 15-day science camp held in three batches (for 45 days). The time slots are divided for juniors (up to Class V) and seniors (from VI to X).

Each student will get to perform 45 experiments in physics, chemistry, biology and environmental science.

These are mostly non-conventional experiments with real life easy to understand application exhibits and also some 90 odd-working models encouraging them to create more. The students start these experiments with just some tips on lab safety and disciplines.

The Trust will allow them to perform the experiment without interfering much.

Students will be encouraged to ask questions and an expert panel of young professionals, scientists and technologists will explain them.

There are three sessions to choose – from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, 12 to 3 and 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

First batch starts on April 15 followed by one on May 2 and another on May 17.

All the students will be given CD containing the experiments and a certificate. A small kit will also be given.

There are only 15 slots in each batch and the total number of available admissions is 135. This will cost Rs. 1,500 a child.

Parikshan Charitable Trust is at 2/18, Kamakshipuram First Street, Postal Colony First Street Extension, West Mambalam. Ph: 87544 90946.
