Residents of Lakshmi Nagar, Nanganallur, thanked the Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation for carrying out repair works and also replacing some of the faulty equipment in their locality recently. According to a note from Lakshmi Nagar Civic Welfare Association, all the nine old circuit breakers were replaced and capacitor banks introduced costing around Rs.1.5 crore. The old equipment, more than a decade old, that had become faulty were resulting in frequent problems. Selvaraj and Padmanabhan, Executive Engineers and Junion Engineers were thanked by the association members, said a note from the association. Sampathkumar, president, Hindu Colony Welfare Association and V.Rama Rao of Lakshmi Nagar were present on the occasion.
