Neha Foundation, Center for Self-development and Parental Counseling, is conducting an interactive and experiential training programme ‘Parent Empowerment Programme’ (PEP) for parents, teachers, social workers, psychologist, school and college counsellors and for anyone who deal with children, from February 5 in two batches at No. 153, Bells Road, Chepauk, Chennai.

The course is designed and facilitated by counselling psychologist, Ms. Sumathi Chandrasekaran. It enables the participants to understand why children misbehave and deal with their misbehaviour using positive discipline methods instead of punishment or reward system.

At the end of the workshop, the participants would be equipped with good understanding about the behaviour of their children and effective techniques to handle them, says an official from Neha Foundation. The first batch will be from February 5 to 28 at 10.00 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. on week days. The second batch will be from February 9 to March 3 at 10.00 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. on week ends. For details, contact 9884826162, 42310573 or visitwww.nehafoundation.com.
