To a song on Gandhi: Children trained by the Aseema Trust perform the Oyilattam.

Aseema Trust, based in Shastri Nagar, marked Children's Day by organising a ‘Spin a Yarn' project. Kannan Kumar trained children of Class VIII in the Besant Arundale School and Olcott School in Oyilattam with a song on Mahatma Gandhi. On November 15, children from Besant Arundale School went over to Olcott School to dance the Oyilattam in their morning assembly. Children of Olcott School sang for the Besant Arundale School students when they danced and vice versa. Organisers of the trust said they wanted to promote such unique partnership programmes in other schools in the neighbourhood.
