The students of Lord Venkateshwara Engineering College, Puliyambakkam, conducted a camp for students of National Service Scheme at Ullavoor village in Kancheepuram.

The camp held from March 12 to 18 saw 50 students supervised by three teaching staff participating in the camp. At the village the students conducted sports competition for children, education awareness and planted tree saplings.

Also the students were engaged in cleaning temples and schools and counselled the people about the evil of drinking. T. Loganathan, Ullavoor village panchayat president, and vice president R. Godhandaraman, participated in the camp. College principal Prof.K.P. Sathyamoorthy and R. Ramalingam, Special Officer, also participated.
