Carnatic musicians from Chennai and other places in South India every year offer unique seva called Nadhahaaram on the occasion of the Vardanthi (birthday) of Raghavendra Swamigal. The coming year is the ninth year of Nadhaharam and on this occasion a 20 feet-high Navarathna Ratha is going to be offered to the saint. This Ratha is being constructed by chosen architects at an estimated cost of over 1 crore in Chennai. It will be made of gold and 6 lakh valuable gem stones. To raise funds for making the ratha, Namasankeerthanam programmes are being arranged in different parts of India. Free accommodations will be provided in SRS Mutt or Nadhahara Bhavanam Complex, Mantralayam, for those who donate Rs. 50,000 and above.  Contributions can be sent through cheques or demand draft favouring “Hanumanthapuram Pallaki Seva Trust” and sent to Dr. G.
