Kudos to linemen

PICK OF THE MAIL BOX

Kudos to the linemen who worked swiftly through the day and restored power supply at T.M. Maistry Street in Vannanthurai after it got disrupted in the recent spell of rain. I also request that Tangedco take necessary precautionary measures in protecting the linemen from any untoward incidents. They risk their lives to provide us the comfort of electricity.

Many a time, I have noticed that these linemen, who are engaged in some repair work in the night, look for torch lights at the nearby houses. It is the duty of the Department to provide them with whatever they require for the job.

Once again, I hail all the linemen for their dedicated service.

S.Venugopalan,

T.M. Maistry Street,

Vannandurai.
