“Save the trees and save the Earth” – this environmental message was conveyed through a scintillating thematic musical play performed not by the matured artists, but by the preschool tiny tots on March 23 at the historic Egmore Museum Theatre.

The junior KG kids of Anna Nagar Kidzee Preschool enacted how a poor farmer struggles and toils to sow a seed to grow a tree and how recklessly we cut them off in the name of development. The tiny tots of play group and nursery gave a colourful group dance.

“The performance was amazing and kudos to the teachers who trained them,” said B. Radha, Director- Vikatan Tele Vistas (P) Limited and the granddaughter of the thespian S.S. Vasan of Gemini Pictures. She distributed the prizes to the winners of various competitions and honoured the teachers.

Parween, the counsellor informed in her welcome address that Anna Nagar Kidzee was adjudged as one of the top ten preschools in Chennai by the Education World magazine, Mumbai. C. J. Shahjahan, the business partner of Anna Nagar Kidzee, proposed a vote of thanks.
