Instituto Hispania, an organisation created in 1997, to promote Spanish language and culture in India, the South East Asian Region, recently opened it second branch in Chennai at Besant Nagar. Their first branch has been at Santhome since 2006. It aims at quality teaching and promotion of Spanish language and its cultural studies in India. The institute also offers corporate training, translation services and interpretation services. Batches for February (Besant Nagar): Basic course starts on February 11 (Mondays to Thursdays) from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on February 16 (Saturdays and Sundays): from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
