HelpAge India, a NGO working for the cause and care of disadvantaged senior citizens, organised an one-day heritage tour on Monday for 50 senior-citizens from five free old age homes to Varadharaja Perumal Temple, Ekambareswarar Temple, Kamakshi Amman Temple, and Kumara Kottam. Competitions were organised for the elderly people, as part of the tour, to exhibit their skills and talents.

The tour was flagged off by B. Ramakrishna, Executive Vice-President, Larsen and Toubro Construction, and V. S. Ramana, General Manager and Head – Corporate Communications, Larsen and Toubro Construction on the company premises on Mount Poonamalee Road, Manapakkam.
