Coimbatore-based Global Hearing Aid Centre has opened its centre in Chennai at Shanti Colony in Anna Nagar recently.

The centre has an acoustically designed sound-treated room equipped with audiometers and impedance meters with ANSI standards calibration. It has an ear mould laboratory.

To screen new-born infants, the centre has novel equipments such as BERA, OAE, ASSR. Some of the other services offered by the centre are rehabilitation treatments, counselling, and speech therapy.

Padmashree Syed Kirmani, former test cricketer and brand ambassador of Widex India inaugurated the new centre.

On the occasion, Widex India distributed free hearing aids to underprivileged hearing-impaired children.
