The Gujarat Handloom and handicrafts exhibition-cum-sale, is being organised by the Gujarat Emporium Showroom at 67, Royapettah High Road, (near Sanskrit College), Mylapore.

Salwar kameez from Gujarat with vegetable dyes, appliqué and mirror work, cotton saris articles made out of mirror such as cushion work, bags, letter stand with elephant and floral motifs, puppets (cloth and velvet) toran (mirror and thread work), wall pieces (glass work and mirror work), file holders, door cutters and dish mats are on display.

Kurtas for men, Sambhalpuri cotton saris, wooden furniture and imitation jewellery are the other attractions. Products made of jute such as bags, hangings, frames and head clips are the highlights.

A special discount of up to 20 per cent on handloom and handicrafts is being given.
