“Hare Krishna Movement – Hyderabad”, is an initiative of ISKCON, Bangalore celebrated Sri Nityananda Trayodashi – the auspicious appearance of Sri Nityananda Prabhu in Hare Krishna Ashram at Road No. 12 Banjara Hills.

The festivities included a grand “Pallaki Utsava” for the deities Sri Gaura Nitai, a Grand Maha Abhishekam with varieties of panchamrita (milk, curd, honey etc), Panchagavya (5 auspicious items from cow), fruit juices, herbal powders, chosen flowers etc, amid ecstatic bhajans & kirtans. Later, the utsava vigraha (idols) of their lordships were carried by the devotees around the temple.

A special arati was conducted to their lordships Sri Gaura Nitai (Krishna Balarama) adorned with select flowers, new vastras & jewellery casted a spell on the devotees. “Chappan Bhog”, a 56-Item preparation made specially for the Lord was offered and a special Pravachan (discourse) on the importance of celebrating the festival was organized. In the end, all the devotees were served varieties of prasadam, said a press release.
