Free workshop on rain water harvesting

Rain Centre is organising a free workshop for journalists on September 27, from 10.30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Press Institute of India, Second Main Road, CPT Campus, Taramani. Sessions will be held on the topic ‘Tested and efficient methods of rainwater harvesting and grey water recycling in multi-storey residential and commercial complexes to achieve water sufficiency.

The following topics will be discussed by experts: Rainwater harvesting – an overview, its need and relevance in urban areas, methodology and success; Water sufficiency through simple methods of recycling used (grey) water; and RWH – In different soils, and salient features of groundwater exploration and exploitation.
