Kala Pradarshini Trust is presenting a six-day Dance Festival, which started on Jan.10, at Bharathiya Vidya Bhavan, Mylapore. Mallika Talak (4.30 p.m. to 5.45 p.m.), Divyatha Arun (5.45 p.m. to 7 p.m.) and Deepa Raghavan (7 p.m.) will perform on Jan.14. Ranjini Sisters (4.30 p.m. to 5.45 p.m.), Navia Natarajan (5.45 p.m. to 7 p.m.), and Radhe Evidaye (7 p.m.) will perform on Jan.15.
Anusha Venkatraman and Soumiya Balasubramanian, disciples of Shivakumar and Sailaja of Shivakalalayam, presented arangetram at Pethachi Auditorium, Luz Church Road on January 8.
The arangetram of D. Mesha, M. Mrudhula, J. Shriveena, Mary Monice Zac and Uma Maheswari — disciples of Lalitha Thiagarajan and students of Bharatanatya Vidyalaya — will be held on January 17 at Rani Seethai Hall, Anna Salai, at 6 p.m.
Kalasamarpana Foundation and Rasoham conducted the Bharatanatya Arangetram of Aparna Sekar, disciple of M.V. Narasimhachari and M. Vasanthalakshmi, on January 9 at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan.
T.R. Subramanyam and Bhavani Raghunandan were the guests of honour.
Vinisha Kathiravan, disciple of Urmila Sathyanarayanan, presented a Bharatanatyam recital on January 13 at Brahma Gana Sabha.
She will present ‘Panchali Sabatham', a performance along with her guru on Janauary 23 at Narada Gana Sabha, T.T.K. Road, from 7.15 p.m. to 8.45 p.m.
She will also present a solo recital on January 29 at Parthasarathy Swami Sabha, Mylapore, from 5.45 p.m. to 7 p.m.
