The 18th convocation ceremony was held at Mohamed Sathak College of Arts and Science, Sholinganallur. Of the 450 graduates, 11 were university rank holders. Governor of Tamil Nadu K. Rosaiah delivered the Graduation Day address and presented medals to university rank holders. Dr. Rosaiah advised the students to work hard to come up in life and praised the services rendered by Mohamed Sathak Trust by establishing various institutions to impart knowledge.
S.M. Hamid Abdul Quadir, Chairman, Mohamed Sathak Trust, presided over the programme and M. Jailani, dean, welcomed the gathering. K.E.N. Nalla Mohamed, academic director, felicitated the rank holders. R. Meganathan, principal, presented the Graduation Day report. Members of management committee — E.S.M. Basheer Ahmed, S.M.B. Siddique and P.R.L.S. Hamid Ibrahim — and S.M. Yousuf, secretary, honoured the chief guest.
