Helping hand:The officials of Central Bank of India donating a van for the mid-day meals programme of the Akshaya Patra Foundation.
Central Bank of India extended a helping hand to Akshaya Patra Foundation, Hyderabad by donating a Swaraj Mazda Cosmo Vehicle under its Corporate Social Responsibility Initiative.
This vehicle will be utilised towards transporting Mid-Day meals to 5,000 less privileged children of Patancheru, Hyderabad. Malay Mukharjee, Executive Director, Central Bank of India handed over the vehicle to the Trustees of Akshaya Patra Foundation at a special programme held at Zonal Office Premises of Central Bank of India.
Addressing on the occasion, Mr. Mukharjee said Central Bank of India has been actively taking part in CSR activities apart from General banking business. He assured that Central Bank of India would continue such activities in future.
