Celebrating Manipuri art, culture, tradition

In an attempt to appreciate the culture and tradition of north-eastern States, Madras Craft Foundation in association with South Zone Cultural Centre is celebrating festivals and different art forms of Manipur at Dakshinachitra. The programme will feature Maibi Jagoi, Kubai, Pung Cholom, Vasant -Ras, Thang-Ta performed by students of Lianda Folk and Classical Academy and Government Dance College from Imphal. Performances will be between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
