There was good response for drawing and oratorical competitions conducted by Exnora Women's Guild, Vadapalani, and Kidzee, Vadapalani. Children from Thiruvaloor also participated.
Saroja Radhakrishnan and Jayanthimani were the judges. The winners of drawing contest were (age 4 to 7 years) Mekana Unnikrishnan (first), G. Mohit (second), (age 8 to 12 years), Sanchi (first), Varshini Ananth (second); oratorical (age 4 to 7 years) Hari Krishnan (first) and G. Vishal (second) and (age 8 to 12 years) Sri Hari (first) and Jayashree (second).
