Art awards for village children

Young Envoys International presented the International Art Awards to village children at ‘Sanskriti'- Rural Art Centre at Hyderguda. Eminent poet and artist Seela Veerraju presented the awards to winners in different competitions.

Master A. Shreetej, K. Rajanikant Naik, B. Lakshmi, T. Madhavi and B. Nandini received gold medals, which they won at the 4 {+t} {+h} International Child Art Expo held in Greece. K. Madhuri, B. Rajeshwari and J. Amarnath received the ‘Unique awards' for single realisation at the 15 {+t} {+h} International Child Art Contest held at Eeje, Slovenia.

The youngest K Bhanuchander received the award won in Romania.

The Rural Art Centre—‘Sanskriti' was established by city-based Child Art Organisation ‘Young Envoys International' and the organisation's activities are supported by the Department of Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development, said a press release.
