The Army Ordnance Corps (AOC) in connection with its 236th raising day organized a motor cycle rally. The rally was flagged off by Major General K.D. Singh, GOC, Andhra sub Area from AOC Centre, Secunderabad.

The expedition led by Captain Kumar Abhishek and assisted by Captain Jeetu Chauhan comprised two officers, two JCOs and 22 other ranks from AOC. The expedition will cover nearly 3200 kms across all districts of the State over a period of 10 days.

During its journey, the team members will interact with ex-servicemen and war widows of AOC settled in the State, in an effort to extend their help in resolving issues related to pension, financial help and awareness regarding recruitment of their wards against Unit Headquarter Quota scheme. The team will also explain the “Mother unit concept” launched recently, said a press release.
