Parents and other guests enjoyed the colourful thematic cultural programmes performed by tiny tots as well as senior students at the annual day ‘Prabhav 2013’of KRM Public School, Perambur on February 23.

Principal Secretary to Government of Tamil Nadu (Training), V. Irai Anbu, while distributing proficiency prizes to students, criticised the traditional practices of studies like rote learning, home work and asked the parents to give enough freedom to their children to explore on their own. He also pointed out that the first rankers are not always the first rankers during their lifetime.

He was honoured by Chief Executive Officer of KRM Public School, R.J. Bhuvanesh. Dean of Kaligi Ranganathan Montford Group of Schools, R. Janardhanan presided. School principal D.P. Sivasakti Balan welcomed the gathering. Coordinator Sujatha Balasubramaniam proposed a vote of thanks.
