The annual camp for Scouts, Guides, Cubs, Bulbuls and Bunnies of SBOA Matriculation and Higher Secondary School, Anna Nagar West, was held at Ayapakkam, during the last week of February.

Deputy General Secretary, S.B.I.O.A Educational Trust, R. Balaji, inaugurated the camp fire. Correspondent, SBOA Matriculation and Higher Secondary School, Thomas Franco Rajendra Dev and former Senior Principal Rajeshwari Menon were among those present during the inaugural session. Scouts and Guides presented various cultural programmes which brought out their hidden talents. Former State Training Commissioner, V. Radhakrishnan, distributed prizes to the winners of various competitions. R. Sanjana a student of VIII, received the Best Guide Award and S. Abinesh of Class VIII received the Best Scout Award.

S. Aditya received the ‘Best Out Going Cub' Award and Nandhini received the ‘Best Out Going Bulbul' Award. R.V. Venkatarajan was adjudged the Best Cub and Amina adjudged the Best Bulbul. 118 bunnies also participated in the camp.

The RSP camp was inaugurated by Azeem Ahmed, Deputy Chief Traffic Warden, Chennai West, and A.S. Selvin Theophilus, Duty Planning Officer-RSP, Chennai West. There was an exhibition of the RSP models on ‘Very Well Traffic Regulated Roads.' Mr. Azeem Ahmed said that he would introduce ‘Model Making' as a compulsory competition in the RSP Annual competitions held at the Head Office. K. Akilandeeshwari and D. Charumathy won the first prize for model making.
