It was ‘The Epic Show’ - a performance for a cause -for the kids and by the kids. 578 Entertainments joined hands with New Life Vision and Ayamara to present the show.

The Epic show was all about bridging the gap between two classes of children, children from the orphanage and from normal families. The whole event was compered by the popular Radio Jockey, Makapa Anand.

It was held at the Music Academy on February 22. Ayamara were the event managers. Ayamara, a completely student run event management collective consisting of 16 students from various colleges in Chennai with varied fields of interest, have come together to make a difference with the events they conduct in the city. Ayamara has already completed six events successfully in a span of less than five months.

The team taught the children dance, music, arts and crafts. They feel art is a strong tool and a barrier-less medium that unites and brings together any category of people from any corner of the world. The event was a ticketed show and all the funds raised will reach the underprivileged children in the orphanage.
