Christmas is a season of sharing. Every year the Dr. John Joseph Foundation distributes gifts to 200 less fortunate children during this festival season. Gifts were distributed this year as well at a Christmas Extravaganza organised at YMCA, Vepery, on December 22.
The Carol evening was performed for the less fortunate children and playback singer Maalavika Manoj sang a few songs.
Founder and Managing Trustee, Ungalukaga Charitable Trust, Dr. Suneel, Drummer Kesahav Dhanraj, Fastest Female Bike Rider, R. Chitra Priya participated in the celebrations and distributed gifts to the children.
Dr.John Joseph Foundation functions at 10, New Mandapam Road, Kilpauk, (Ph: 26452120) works among the less fortunate children to create a change in their lives, regardless of religion, race or gender.
The CEO of Dr. John Joseph Foundation, Churchill Joseph says: “We aim to ensure that every under-privileged child attains to his or her right to education, health and opportunity. Our Vision is to give the under privileged children hope and a future, which include good clothing, safe shelter, nutritious food and quality education. Since inception in 2008, we provided freebies to nearly 1000 children across Tamil Nadu and also created a support system for 25 children to receive the scholarship for the past three years. .”
