Sri Desika Sabha organised the 45th Thiruppavai Festival competitions at Keys High School, Secunderabad recently.

About 278 students participated in the competitions, including recitation of Thiruppavai, Vaaranamaayiram, Desika Charitam quiz. Prizes were presented to all the contestants who participated in these competitions.

Addressing on the occasion, many parents expressed their happiness over their ward’s performances. They opined that these competitions help in developing a healthy competitive spirit among children, besides helping them understand and follow our traditions and culture, said a press release here.
