Nandalala Seva Samithi founded by Mathioli R Saraswathy is engaged in diverse social activities aimed at reaching out to those in need.

Nandalala's social service activities range from areas of child development to Healthcare as also in Education apart from Art and Culture.

On every one of the 365 days from April 2010 to March 2011, Nandalala volunteers in various parts of India including in Chennai and Bengaluru have conducted Matruseva (care like a mother) offering food to those in need reaching out to over 100 people every day.

The 365 day Matruseva has been done at all places ranging from orphanges to Hospitals to Old Age homes and was done in such a way so as to reach out to those who most needed it.

Nandalala's volunteers had taken up this all year matruseva in memory of Smt Jayalakshmi Ramachandran mother of Nandala founder Mathioli R Sarawathy
