Several members of the Muslim community in the Medak district are preparing for the Haj tour.

As a precautionary measure as well as following the mandatory norms, 82 members of them took vaccines at Sangareddy during last one week to immunise them against viral diseases as well as any other problems.

A team of experts supervised the vaccination.

Those who are going to Haj have to submit vaccination certificates to the authorities at the airport of departure in India as well at the entry point in Saudi Arabia. Alnoman Education Society has facilitated the arrangements for vaccination.

All of them were selected by Haj Committee and their airfare will be subsidised by the government.

Another 20 Muslims are going in their own for the Haj and have hired private operators.

“Every year, we make similar arrangements. It is mandatory to take vaccine before taking up Haj tour,'' says, M.A.K. Fisal, programme coordinator and also a journalist.
