The movie I really like is Thalapathy. It was very real, something you don’t see too often on screen. It wasn’t like a story, it seemed real.
Though it had a heavy duty cast, you don’t see them as cast… you see them as people. It had great music and the re-recording was superb.
Rajnikant, Mammootty and Arvind Swamy… everyone acted really well. It was a nice movie. It moved you in a lot of ways. It’s one of the films where the violence does not disturb you. This was a film that needed it.
The violence was a part of the reality.
