Wake-up call

Share  ·   print   ·

H ollywood hardman Russell Crowe had a serious wake-up call to quit smoking when he realised he was polishing off multiple packs a day. Russell admits he was in denial about how much he puffed but he has now realised just how much his bad habit had been affecting his health. “I've been smoking for 36 years,” he says. “I was like anyone else who lied about how much they smoked. I smoked 40 a day, but on a day when I was up early and still up at midnight, it was even more. My body told me to stop.”
