This programme deals with paranormal incidents. This week focussus on three villages. In one, a deity Pandi Muni is believed to protect wealth, which is hidden under a rock. The rock has an inscription and anyone who tries to read it is said to become mentally unstable.
There’s a village in Tamil Nadu where one can get treated for fractures, just like in Puttur. In another village, the residents do not give or take dowry. What’s more, they do not consume alcohol so there are no bars there. Model villages, these!

The Anjaraipetti wagon, while touring places across Tamil Nadu, makes a halt at Kumbakkonam and Mayiladuthurai to explore the cuisines in the famous temple cities. The team tastes delicious home-made avakka pickle and vazhakkai meen masala curry in Kumbakkonam. In Mayiladuthurai, the team visits some of our viewers’ houses and savours unheard of dishes such as kara karunai gola and doubled cone.
The Anjaraipetti wagon then heads to Theni, a popular outdoor shooting spot. Here the team gets to taste dishes such as fish pollichadhu, karandi omlette and aatukudal gravy.
Sarchai Singaram Saloon

The local saloon is always a meeting point where visitors discuss subjects ranging from politics to cinema. Sarchai Singaram Saloon follows this concept with Balaji as the saloon owner and movie-crazy Prabhakar his assistant. Humour is the common thread. Film clips add colour to the show.
