He may have had a lean year so far in terms of releases, but Viddarth is an excited man, shooting in Orissa for another schedule of director Siva’s yet-to-be-titled film starring Ajith and Tamannaah. “I have four films including Aal, Jannal Oram and Pattaya Kelappanum Pandiya lined up for release and in each of them I play a different character,” says Viddarth. “Meanwhile, director Sajin Varghese briefly outlined the story of Meesan and I was attracted to the character which is close to what I am in real life,” notes Viddarth. Meesan is a romantic thriller that traces a man’s journey through the ups and downs of life, his relationships, experiences and more. “After years of gaining experience working under director Vinayan on several Malayalam and Tamil films, I have gathered enough confidence to strike out on my own with this film for which I have written the story, screenplay and dialogue. When it came to choosing the hero, I had no hesitation in selecting Viddarth who fits the character to a T,” says Sajin.
