Music highlights

There are five songs in the album and Bappi Lahiri’s ‘Naughty Raja Raja’ is the best. ‘Kannamma,’ sung by a group of girls, is targeted at young men. ‘Karuppampatti,’ sung by Naveen, Mukesh, Senthil and Surmuki, underlines the significance of the Pongal festival.

‘Oh Indira’ is beautifully sung by Karthik and Sayanora Philip — here the accordion, double bass, trumpets and guitars have been used to make it sound retro. ‘Adaleru kalai’ is about the jallikattu and sung with gusto by Rahul Nambiar and Mukesh.
