in focus Isha Talwar makes her Telugu debut with a lot of promise and hope
Isha Talwar is one of the most open minded debutante in the Telugu film industry. She is making her debut in Nithiin-starrer Gunde Jaari Gallanthayindi after doing two Malayalam and one Tamil film.
The actor is all praise for the South Indian film industry. “There are so many technicians from the South in Bollywood right now. I feel lucky to have made a beginning from here. There is a huge cultural difference. But as an actor I get to learn more things. If you are not open minded you can have a tough time,” she avers.
Isha relishes the food in Hyderabad and says even the food served on the sets of the film is delicious. She enjoys travelling and thinks it is one of the greatest perks of being an actor. Being born and brought up in Mumbai would she have ideally wanted a Bollywood launch? “If you are part of the film industry it’s not right asking for something ideal. You have to grab all the good opportunities. As a newcomer, it is my ability and talent that I should focus on. It is not important as to who will launch me, who will be my hero. Right now I want to be a part of good projects... what comes later is the mad race to be numero uno.”
What does Gunde Jaari Gallanthayindi mean? “It’s a youngster’s and not a teenager’s film. It means my heart slipped and got lost. To find out whether Nithiin lost it to Nitya or me, you’ve got to watch the film,” she smiles.
