Character artiste Gadam Kishan who has four films to his credit — Bale Pandiya, Deiva Thirumagal, Mudhal Idam and Ko — is grateful to two persons for his being in the entertainment industry. “First, I must thank Ramanagiri Vasu, creative head, Vijay TV. He encouraged me a lot during my television days. The second is Sivaji Ganesan who blessed me when I gave a short performance at the wedding of actor Jaishankar’s son,” says Kishan. He has done a variety of roles — a naïve person, a mentally challenged youth, the heroine’s brother and a cameo in a song sequence in Ko . “I am now playing Jai’s brother, a fun-filled character, in an upcoming production of Aascar Films. This, I am sure, will take me to great heights,” says Kishan.
