Bright and busy with brilliant wall-to-wall action, G-Force is big budget badshah, Jerry Bruckheimer's answer to the family film. The story is sweet and funny - who would not smile at super- spy hamsters saving the world from a megalomaniac household appliance manufacturer who wants to rule the world by getting toasters and microwave ovens to listen to him?G-Force is a seamless marriage oflive action and CGI. The voice cast ispretty solid with two Oscar winners:Penelope Cruz as the sexy martialarts pro Juarez and Nicolas Cage asstar-nosed mole Speckles, the geekof the gang. The plot is pretty thin. There iselectronics magnate Saber, who isdoing dastardly deeds.Under FBI surveillance for twoyears, it is up to Ben and his fourgenetically engineered guinea pigs, the G-Force, to unravel the plotand save the world. The four guinea pigs, led bypugnacious Darwin and helped bya fly (who is the 'eye' of the team),go ahead and do just that in fizzy, dizzy style. There is also a ferret whoclaims not to be a ferret, threesilly mice and a plump hamster toprovide some more laughs. At 89 minutes, G-Force provideseye candy, with the rightmix of breathless excitement,multi-hued delights and sillylaughs.G-ForceGenre: AnimationDirector: Hoyt YeatmanCast: Sam Rockwell, Tracy Morgan, Penelope Cruz, Nicolas Cage, JonFavreau, Bill NighyStoryline: A specially trained squad of guinea pigs is dispatched to stop a diabolical billionaire from taking over the world.Bottomline: May the force be with youMINI ANTHIKAD-CHHIBBER
